In preparing for 2010, I've spent a lot of time over the past few months reviewing my business goals from 2009. It's been great to celebrate goals/dreams that were reached, pinpointing areas that need more time/work to reach the goals/dreams, and crafting new goals for long-term dreams to be accomplished in 2010 and beyond!
During this process, I decided to make a list of things that I was/am thankful for in regards to my business. (see Hebrews 12:28-29) Amist so many wonderful blessings, one that really makes me excited and so very thankful, is that I am a part of the Media.
There's SO much more that I want to say about this... But, I must stifle myself (lol) I actually have been working on a new project to be released in 2010 and we'll talk more about this subject then! =) So excited...
So 'ya, as I embark upon Biz Projects for 2010, it is just so overwhelming to me the power of words. The Word of God, the pen, the pad, the digital lingual character, etc. As a member of the Media, it's just so powerful and humbling to think about how YOU hold the power in your words. YOU are responsible for helping to shape an entire generation of people's thinking, which in turn, affects many more generations to come... One word describes it...wow!
To my colleagues, I say, please don't take this privilege lightly. Please be responsible with your power of influence, with your words. And to anyone who has the breath of God in your lungs (see Genesis 2:7) likewise, use the power of your words carefully in 2010.
Matthew 12:30-37 holds a very important key for those who proclaim Christianity, especially those who are in positions of Leadership over 'the flock'.
